The Artpreneur artist Incubator coaching program can help you build a successful art business. The Inspiration Place is a globally acclaimed podcast and book by them. They wanted to be an artist since fourth grade, but they didn't think they could make a living doing it. Even though they went to college to study art history, they ended up going the practical route and working in finance. Artpreneur had a wake-up call after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and quit their Wall Street-based hedge fund job for full-time work on their art. During this time, their love affair with portraits really took off. Their son was painted as Batman by them. They invited their friends over to view it because they loved it so much and were so proud of it. Those kids told their parents, and soon they were painting the friends of their son. Soon after, more people saw those portraits and asked for commissions, which led to the birth of a portrait business. However, it didn't occur coincidentally or short term.
