About Cafe Des Amis

In 1988, Bill and Emmanuelle Betham, opened Cafe Des Amis in their sixteenth century building. While going to Mexico, they were propelled by the remarkable and energetic cooking and the Mexicans' affection for celebration. Realizing that there was something else to Mexican food besides stew con carne and chimichangas, Bill who was at that point a cook and had recently worked in Paris, Sydney and Durban found the genuine Mexican fixings, explored credible recipes and made the menu.
