At home, they normally use honey as an alternative to sugar, and when they first came to Ireland, they really missed honey that would have met their needs. They realised that surely they are not the only one, so they decided to start importing Slovak honey directly from the beekeeper to Ireland. In the beginning, they used to sell it to people from the Slovak community. In spring 2015, their friend opened a small café in Rathmines, and he asked them if they could supply honey for him. They registered with the Department of Agriculture as a honey purchaser, and was officially established. They extended their product portfolio to other bee products.
